Are you looking to find and fix broken links on your website? If yes, then you should continue reading this guide. In this article, you will learn everything about broken links.

Broken links on a website are one of the most common problems faced by webmasters. They can cause confusion for visitors, lower SEO rankings, and create a negative user experience.

Broken links can be a major annoyance for users, as well as a sign of poor website maintenance. Thankfully, there are a few simple tools and tips that can help you quickly identify and fix broken links on your website.

In this blog post, we’ll explore how to find broken links on your website so you can keep your site running smoothly.

Let’s start the guide!

What are Broken Links?

Broken links are links on a webpage that don’t work anymore. This can happen because of mistakes in typing, pages that have been removed, or content that has been moved somewhere else. Sometimes, the website’s address changes, but the link on the other page does not get updated.

These links are not good for SEO as they spoil the user’s experience and cause trouble for search engines trying to index the site. They also confuse people who click on them, thinking they will find something else. So, it is crucial to find these broken links and fix them quickly to make sure your website stays optimized and easy for visitors to use.

There are different kinds of broken links – internal and external. Internal links are those that connect one page on a website to another, while external links connect a website to some other resource like a picture or a document.

Broken links are harmful to the user experience because they stop users from getting the information they are looking for. So, it is very important for people who own websites to regularly check for broken links and correct them.
